What you’ll get to do as a Senior Project Manager:

  • • Develop strong client relationships and act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s strategy and goals
  • • Lead programs or work and large capital projects, varying in size and scope
  • • Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issues
  • • Select, organize and influence the performance of multi-disciplined project teams
  • • Lead client and project meetings. Manage multiple stakeholders and communication streams.
  • • Maintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Managers, Principals or Vice President
  • • Regularly reporting on project status by means of schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records and other reports
  • • Provide oversight and leadership to the change management process, payment certificates and other contract or project related administrative documents

QUALIFICATIONS

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • • Over 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to in the delivery of building development and capital improvement projects for education and other institutional clients - municipal/provincial, social infrastructure.
  • • A university degree in engineering or architecture, licensed engineer or architect in the Province of Quebec.
  • • Public sector project management experience for construction projects above $25M
  • • Deep knowledge of various design and construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as building codes, contract law and relevant legislation
  • • Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and experience working in a PMO environment
  • • Effective leadership and organization skills matched with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client and technical issues
  • • Effective in making decisions, and solving problems based on sound analysis, experience and judgement.
